The Online Poker Analyzer is a new empirical poker calculator on the market. You can read the full review on this website located here - Online Poker Analyzer. However, this blog post is more about unscrupulous marketing methods being used on their sales page.
From a marketing standpoint in terms of copy writing, I would have to say its close to genius because it targets new players to online poker that are easily blinded by outlandish claims. These are the same types of players who may very well find themselves in desperate economic conditions just yearning for an easy to replace a lost job, income, family or house due to the recession.
<<<<Check out the video testimonials on this site. A pathetic display of modern day snake-oil salesman claims targeting new online poker players. See the videos here. If that's not underhanded enough the sales page alludes to the software being so powerful that the product was banned, (but has now miraculously returned), that people are able to quit their jobs in short order once they start using this product, and that the creator, Adam Brinks is somehow a catalyst (as a student) in the academic project from MIT’s Brain and Cognitive Sciences.
Not only should you not believe any of the above, but because Adam Brinks is simply a internet snake-oil salesperson, he enlisted actors on the website to make outrageous claims of winnings. The product itself, during the download process WARNS the user not to win more than $400 / day so as not to be found out by the poker site investigators. Little do fresh online poker players know, that a very small percentage of players will ever win money long term online. And a new player to the game has absolutely NO, NOTTA, ZERO chance of retiring in just a few weeks to play poker online. It's all utter nonsense, and when a product has to surround itself in such foolishness, well you might as well know right now - it sucks. This woman (in the sales page video) claims to have placed 3rd in an online poker tournament, but yet referred to her exploits as a "jack-pot" like she was playing bingo with other grandmothers.
The online poker analyzer is just another example of classless marketers on the internet. If you fall for these claims and buy this product, you deserve to lose your money.
